We all love to throw a sausage on the ‘barbie’ but if you are up for more than this, join us to learn how to prepare in advance for a barbecue. How to marinade your meat, make your own burgers, inventive salads and dressings, and homemade pitta & hummus.
• Arrive at 9.15am for tea and coffee and course introduction
• During the morning we will be breaking down a chicken and stuffing the legs, making wet and dry marinades with pork belly, making our own ultimate burger and learning how to cook the perfect steak
•In the afternoon we will move on to make the things that support and make a barbecue; the salads and dressing, pittas and hummus.
• Summer dining on our terrace (weather permitting) to finish the session, a tasty lunch along with a glass of wine, beer or a soft drink.
To take home: A Woodspeen apron and cooking cloth. All course notes and freshly baked treatsfromthe day.
