The vegan movement is gaining much momentum, and our course is here to help you create wonderful meals for the entire family. Our course is starch based emphasising on this traditional food of our elders. We will cover dishes which are simple to create, nourishing and healthy. Learn simple alternatives to replace those convenience junk foods available in the supermarkets.
•Weekly meal planning and preparations
•Education on starch as the basis of our calories, and never to count them!
•Introducing you to a diet based on starch - root vegetables, grains and pulses; with added colourful vegetables and fruits, and peppered with some seeds and nuts
•Moving away from convenience vegan products which are terrible for your health
•Keeping as many nutrients in your produce and helping you assimilate them, so no more need for toxic multivitamin pills.
•Arrival at 9.15am for tea and coffee and course introduction
•Enjoy lunch with some of the mornings dishes
•We will keep you refreshed with tea, coffee and mineral water throughout the day
•Finish course at 3.30pm with some of the day’s preparations to take home
To take away: Cookery school apron and cooking cloth, some of the food cooked on the day and all notes and recipes.
